How do I use CultureFlex?

Opening CultureFlex

Click your user icon in the top right corner, then CultureFlex.

You can also jump into a practice scenario as you explore the platform, from:

  • Your Home page: click Assess on your CultureFlex score card
  • A country page: your CultureFlex score for that country
  • Your Worldprism™ profile: the Worldprism™ skills tips, under See how your style works in practice

1. Choose a skill

Pick one of 13 skills to work on, such as giving feedback, motivating others or building trust.

2. Choose who you're working with

  • People from another country: practice applying your skill with a particular country
  • One of my teams: practice working with a team you're in
  • One of my colleagues: practice working with someone you're connected with

3. Generate your scenario

CultureFlex creates a realistic workplace scenario based on your choices and your Worldprism™ profile.

4. Answer two questions

  • First, identify which Worldprism™ dimension is at play. If you're not sure, have a go. The answer is revealed after 3 attempts
  • Then, write how you'd adapt your approach to get the best outcome

5. Get your score and feedback

Click Score response to see your score and feedback straight away.

Keep improving with Carla

Ask Carla about your score and feedback. She can suggest strategies to try next time, and learning paths that build the skill you're practicing. You'll find her in the bottom right corner of every page.

Tips for a strong response

  • Be specific: describe exactly what you'd say or do
  • Look for the opportunity: the best responses show how a cultural difference can become a strength, not just a problem to manage
