About
Tanja Lykke Sørensen is a multicultural professional with Danish and Thai roots, originally from Denmark. Her global journey began in Sweden and later took her to Mexico, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates, where she lived and worked for much of her adult life. With academic roots in Southeast Asia Studies and a specialization in Thai language at Copenhagen University, she combines strong international business expertise with cultural knowledge. She also completed postgraduate studies in Recruitment and HR and is a Certified PPA Analyst with expertise in behavioral assessment. Alongside her consulting career, Tanja shares her heritage by running a cooking class business focused on Thai food culture.

- Currently provides insights and guidance as an Independent Senior Consultant, focusing on enhancing cross-cultural communication and understanding.
- Served as Head Recruiter for Northern Europe’s largest integrated shipping and logistics company in Denmark, overseeing both local and international recruitment efforts for three years.
- Held the role of Department Manager, managing a diverse team of 150 employees from Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and the Philippines.
- Spent seven years as an Executive Headhunter for a Mexican-based legal search company, honing expertise in talent acquisition.
- Worked as an Associate Partner and later Partner in Latin American HR firms in Mexico City, providing advisory and consultancy services in HR solutions for diverse clients.
- Served as an Intercultural Consultant and Trainer at C3 Consulting ApS and as a Country Navigator Coach.
- Delivered coaching and training courses for employees at DFDS A/S, a leading shipping and logistics company.
- Provided cultural training for organizations, employees, and families working in or with Mexico and Latin America, including expatriate and relocation training to equip individuals and teams for successful transitions.
